My last play a few days ago a Hantu appeared infront of me and started approaching me and the hunt sound started even if it wasn't an actual hunt. There are still some aspects of the game that still catch me off guard. Whatever the devs decide, I'll respect and most likely support. I still jump on, play with friends, even stream it, but I would love for the game to go in that direction. Again, I love the game and how great it is. Get paid for the job no matter what evidence you get, maybe add a point system that turns into experience and levels for whatever they would be useful for. Maybe you go into a house and find that it isn't even haunted at all. Maybe some ghosts are friendly and just want to be heard or left alone. Maybe make it so not all ghosts hunt you, only the deadly ones. I'd rather go into the house and try to gather as much evidence and interactions as possible versus going through the same process of find the 3 identifying evidences, complete 3 additional objectives, and avoid the hunting. Don't get me wrong, I love the game but the last update with 2 new ghosts and a new map held my attention for a couple hours and now I shelved it again. The game is too objective focused and not enough experience focused imo. A shadow over there, a brief glimpse of a figure at the end of the hall, a head peaking around the corner, things that make you stop and wonder if it really happened. What they really need to add are more subtle interactions. View the full, more detailed rules page here. Rule 8: All posts must be flaired appropriately. Rule 7: Forbidden post content such as basketball scores, paint can stacking, hoarding/piling house items, and ghost names are prohibited. Rule 6: Posts containing cheating, exploitation, game-breaking glitches, and/or guides on how to perform any of the above are strictly prohibited. Rule 5: No personal or revealing information. Rule 4: Posts must pertain to the game Phasmophobia or its developers. Rule 3: No sexual or otherwise NSFW content. Twitch/Gameplay clips under 5 minutes long as well as creative posts are acceptable. Rule 2: No blatant self promoting or advertising. You should get the answer in no time of you do that.Rule 1: Do not insult/personally attack others. Ask a couple of times around that spot, not that holding the spirit box must be in a 3 meter range to the ghost. Ask the ghost if he is here, if you get a sign, go where the sign occured while asking (knocking on a window, pushed item, door movement, phone ringing, for example). The easiest way is to be alone with the ghost in the room in the dark (flashlight and candle may be on). So never say, "Sandra, are you here?" if you want a box answer. Testet it out in Bleasdale over two roomsįun fact 2: ghosts also do answer during hunts (not recommended though)įun fact 3: saying the forname of the ghost before a question will negate a spirit box answer as it counts as saying the name only (which will most likely trigger just an activity, not the box). * some ghosts also only answer to people that are alone in the room (ask your team to get out of your room)įun fact 1: the spirit box can work as a relais station on the floor, so you basically can be 6 meter away from the ghost at most and still get an answer. * there is just a 33% chance the ghost might answer * you must be within 3 meters of that spirit box (does also work through walls) * the spirit box must be in a 3 meter range to the ghost (does work through walls) * lights of the room you are in must be off (ghost may be still in a lit room) * you must have said a key sentence the ghost will react to ("give me a sign", "where are you", just two examples) Like BlobMan32 already said, the basic rules are easy, though there are a lot of minor funny behaviours:
